Tomorrow’s NYTBR, today

The Sunday New York Times Book Review section is posted on Saturdays, thank goodness. Nothing enlivens a long Saturday afternoon like a skim through the Grey Lady’s reviews. This week, Beginner’s Greek receives a love letter from reviewer James Kaplan. There is also a review of The Commoner, a new novel about the Japanese Imperial family by John Burnham Schwartz. I started this book yesterday and finished it this morning — it was so hard to put down.
