1. Spaces are still available in Winter Writing Classes beginning this Saturday. Call 296-1922 to reserve a spot or come to the first class with your registration form and payment if you decide at the last minute. Visit the website for course descriptions and registration forms.

2. The price of 24-hour access to the WriterHouse writing space has been reduced by half! Beginning February 1, WriterHouse Members may apply for a door unlocking code for $50 a month or $125 per quarter, for non-reserved space. For less than a cup of coffee per day, you can do your writing in a quiet space, among other writers. Download an application from the website.

3. The following seminars are sponsored by WriterHouse in conjunction with Virginia Festival of the Book and require prior registration:

Memory to Story: Writing Your Life–Friday March 20, 9am-noon. Richard Goodman, author of The Soul of Creative Writing and French Dirt , will lead students in exploring ways to take personal memories and shape them into a narrative that will be meaningful to everyone. $40 before March 1st, $50 after March 1st or $45 for members.
