  • 'Playwright and screenwriter Horton Foote passed away today at 92-years-old. Foote wrote screenplays like the the Academy Award-winning "To Kill a Mockingbird" and Oscar-nominated script "Tender Mercies." He won the Pulitzer Prize for "The Young Man From Atlanta," and was celebrated for his nine-play series, "The Orphans' Home." Read more in his NY Times obituary.'
